Hi!
I am a fourth year medical student at UQ. I graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Science (Honours), specialised in Biomedical Science. I have experience tutoring high school to undergrad students on subjects such as Biology, Physiology, Psychology, Anatomy, and Scientific Research.
I always like to get to know my student's interests and learning styles they enjoy before we start. This will allow me to tailor resources including your notes and past year papers to tap on your strengths and work on addressing your weaker areas. I believe that learning should be fun and will make it as interactive as possible rather than an instructive manner. I welcome questions because it is a key part of your learning! Also, I aim to keep my lessons suited to your needs and I am happy to pace it for your optimal learning.
In addition, having done a few years of cancer research in a hospital as a career prior to medical school, I can offer advice regards to a career in healthcare. I have accumulated many experiences that I am happy to share in helping with your future grad school admissions or employability!
With regards to medical school admissions, I offer proofreading of essays and interview/MMI prep as well! I know how overwhelming the process of application can be, and hence I can provide the guidance you need to be a more confident and prepared candidate!
