Economics, maths, statistics and physics, explained clearly and step by step.
I’m Aiden, known as Arty on StudentVIP. I’m a physicist, economist and student-at-law with more than six years of tutoring experience, including over four years as a university staff tutor.
WHAT I CAN HELP WITH
• Economics: microeconomics, macroeconomics, and economics and finance for business
• Statistics and econometrics: understanding methods, interpreting results and working through problems
• Maths: foundation skills, algebra and Calculus 1–3
• Physics: high school and first- and second-year university subjects
• Accounting and first-year business subjects
HOW WE’LL WORK
Sessions are structured around your subject, current topics and goals. We start with the concepts and work through examples together, then practise applying the methods to new questions.
I use Zoom/Skype with a graphics tablet and iPad, so you can follow each step and keep the notes. I prepare topic summaries, scaffolded notes and practice questions, and adapt the pace and explanation when something hasn’t clicked.
You’re welcome whether you’re rebuilding confidence in maths, catching up on a difficult topic or aiming for a distinction or HD. I make room for questions, repetition and different ways of explaining the same idea.
