I have been working as a private tutor for more than 5 years, catering to students from various backgrounds and age groups. My main goal is to help them improve their academic performance. I strongly believe in a personalized and student-centered teaching approach, where I focus on identifying each student's strengths and areas for improvement. This allows me to tailor my teaching style accordingly. Throughout my teaching career, I have gained extensive experience in both face-to-face and online settings, working with primary, secondary, and tertiary students. I have also conducted group lessons, ensuring that each student receives the necessary attention and support. To make learning more effective, I have developed teaching methods such as tricks, hacks, mnemonics, and scenarios, which emphasize practical application rather than mere memorization. My empathetic approach ensures that students not only understand the concepts but also retain the knowledge for future challenges. Additionally, I provide multiple-choice and short-response questions to assess the students' understanding after each lesson. In terms of my qualifications, I hold a Bachelor's degree in Advanced Science with a major in Pre-Medicine, graduating with High Distinction. Services: I offer various services at different prices 1. one-on-one tutoring, the rate is $70 per hour. 2. Group-based tutoring, with a minimum of 3 students, is priced at $60 per hour. 3. Exam preparation for mid-term or final exams, the rate is $150 per hour. 4. Reviewing and providing feedback for assignments, including essays, reports, posters, and presentations, at a rate of $150 per hour. Availabilities: My availability for tutoring sessions is from Sunday to Wednesday. Location: While most of my sessions are conducted online via Zoom, I can also accommodate in-person sessions at the UTS Broadway Campus on Sundays if required.
