Hi there! My name's William. I am also a JD graduate (from UNSW) who graduated with the Juris Doctor Medal, a High Distinction WAM and appeared on the UNSW Law Dean's list multiple times. I am currently doing my PLT training through the College of Law. I am offering 1:1 tutoring or group tutoring (at a slightly higher rate, to be discussed, but cheaper on an individual basis if you split the cost) in core and elective law subjects for 2nd year undergraduate students and above (that is, no Foundations of Law/Introducing Law and Justice) and any JD students. The subjects I'm most comfortable with (at UNSW) are listed on this profile (the JD course codes are listed but obviously I can tutor the UG courses too), although I am happy to assist with any other core or elective courses where I can. I have quite a lot of teaching experience and am very passionate about it (and would like to end up lecturing myself, perhaps). I have run academic revision workshops through UNSW LawSoc whilst at university (you may even have attended one!), work as a casual paid tutor for UNSW law students, used to be a demonstrator in the Faculty of Science and also was a peer mentor/tutor in my undergraduate degree in Science. Sessions can cover course content and concepts or be more focused on your legal writing if that is something you would like to work on. I am obviously most comfortable with the way teaching is done at UNSW but am open to helping students from other universities with Priestly 11 material. To be clear, I do NOT sell my own notes and will not facilitate any breaches of the University's Academic Conduct rules under any circumstances. Time and place (and rates) negotiable. Happy to tutor online via Zoom or at a mutually convenient location. Please shoot me a message if you're interested!
