I completed a PhD in machine learning in 2023 at UQ. Previously, I also completed a Bachelor of Engineering (Software) at UQ in 2016. I have extensive tutoring experience in the school of EECS (7 years), mostly covering third and fourth level computer science courses since 2016. I believe that your ability to learn is one of the fundamental skills that will improve your life. In the age of ChatGPT and friends, I also believe that your ability to think for yourself and work through content using your own mental resources is also more important than ever! It can also help greatly to have another human working through the content with you, rather than relying solely on the AI. Therefore, my style of tutoring relies on you doing most of the work and me giving you guidance or hints where appropriate.
