Hi, I'm Lauri! I'm currently a clinical psychology registrar, and I completed my honours year in psychology at Monash University (graduating with first class honours). I understand how competitive studying psychology is, and I know the standard of work that's expected of students applying for honours and master's programs in Melbourne. I strictly tutor psychology units from first to fourth year as I'm passionate about them and understand they can be tough. I'd love to help you achieve great results by helping you study smarter rather than harder. I am extremely patient and great at explaining concepts in a clear and concise manner. I am a bit of a slow learner myself, so I understand that learning new concepts takes time. **Please note: I do not tutor stats subjects as it's been too long since I've worked with SPSS/JASP/R. I CAN HELP WITH: - Going over lecture content and slides and helping with any concepts you are struggling to understand. - Going over assignment instructions and marking rubrics and breaking down what is required of you and how to approach the assignment in order to achieve the best grades. - Proofreading assignments e.g. lab reports, essays, lit reviews, and providing in depth feedback as quickly as possible. - Helping with the formatting of assignments e.g. APA formatting, reference lists, title pages - Helping you prepare for exams - over the years I've come up with some efficient ways of studying and I'm keen to share some tips to help you achieve your best in your exams. - Providing some useful tips for writing your resume and statement of purpose for Masters applications. I am more than happy to sit down for an hour and talk you through the application process as I understand how daunting it can be. I charge $55 for an hour of tutoring/marking/reading through papers. Depending on the assignment, it may require more time e.g. proofreading a longer essay may take me 1.5 hours ($82.50).
