This unit offers a new perspective on how to coach the athlete, whether they are beginner, intermediate or elite. First of all, we delved into the Informational Processing Approach and the disconnect it provides for learning objectives. We then progressed onto the more popular, upcoming, and new approach to coaching - the ecological approach. Both have defined how we teach athletes, and both will continue to divide opinions across the academics. However, this subject is a breeze if you let it be. Go to the lectures, read, and remember the defining principles of the two approaches.
