Reviews

Strongly disliked this subject. Very vague assignments and little to no feedback. Tutor wasn't much help and sometime came off rather condescending when answering questions. I dont feel the examples given were very helpful. This didnt give me a very exciting start to my journalism/business degree.

I wish I didn't leave this unit until my 3rd yet of my double degree because it's made me loathe my journalism major to the point where I am putting it off until I finish the business part of my dual degree.

I really liked this subject. Tutors were great and happy to help = but I went to all tutes.

Absolutely terrible subject. Poorly and incorrectly worded assignments. Task says one thing and the tutors say another. Tutors are not helpful, and are plainly offensive when providing feedback. May have put me off of my journalism degree entirely.

This subject gives you a good understanding of how to determine which online sources to trust, and how to find and use statistics and other information for your stories.
