Description

For this subject (GENE20001), I wrote brief notes in class then cleaned them up and cross-checked with references - textbook, internet, and lecturers/tutors - at a later date. As you can see I've used colours to highlight the important parts and I've tried to use my own words to explain concepts simply at all times. My notes for the first series of lectures are brief because they were mostly problems. However, for the rest of the course, which was mostly theory, you should find that the notes are detailed and explanatory. I found this style of note taking especially conducive to writing out palm cards and revising at the end of semester. I got a high H1 for this subject and there's no reason you can't do the same with similar study techniques. The key for this subject is to do as many problems as you can once you have the theory under your belt.
