This is by far the most facinating subject I have ever studied at Uni. The material ranges from the techniques used by artists throughout history to convey depth information, how smell mediates attraction; the distortions of body perception experienced by those with eating disorders, and the technical details of 3D movies. Kevin has an amazing way of making complex topics very accessible, using humor to keep things light. And the practical activities were very engaging, especially the one on stereophotography, which really helped me to understand how depth perception works. And who knew that they had 3D cameras in the 1800's! I would recommend this unit to anyone.
