Really enjoyed this unit! Took it in its inaugural semester as an online elective and it was great. The weekly topics are very interesting and make you judiciously ponder about a range of ethically-based concepts regarding the use and implications of technology in the present and future. Overall, this unit is easy to engage in and is very achievable to do well in. Great job by the Department of Philosophy for introducing this unit because no matter what degree you are studying, what you learn in this subject will be relevant to not only yourself but to society as a whole.
