La trobe online library has textbooks u can borrow so long as u have a student account. you can also go in person, they're very helpful (9-5 mon to fri). And pro tip, if the study guide suggests a certain book, you're guaranteed to find a pdf online. Don't waste money on textbooks you'll chuck away after 1 sem 🙏🏼 once you start ur course, try to get to know students who are in 2nd or 3rd year and ask them for their notes etc. Best of luck!! :)

ED are the education buildings, you'll find it under the buildings option and where exactly on the map. Also if u go on campus and head to where the agora/library is, there's a lot of helpful signage + the library staff do offer pamphlets with the layout of the campus

I believe that back-to-back classes are somewhat unavoidable in most cases, so I wouldn’t necessarily recommend staying away from them. I’ve been told that classes end 5 minutes before the hour and start 5 minutes after the hour so you shouldn’t face much strain when it comes to getting to classes on time. Also, during longer classes, you’re given a break. All in all, I believe you’ll be okay with doing back-to-back classes. Hope this answers your question!

Buildings with any type of lab in them will be kept to approximately 25 celsius, which is standard lab temperature. That’ll explain it if you’re in a science building.
