Review from laboratory demonstrator: As of 2023, the topic is now titled PHYS1101 Physics 1A, incorporating Physics connect for science and engineering students. The physics content builds on the a student's year 12 physics knowledge, as well as preparing you for university studies. Workshops, quizzes and laboratories are apart of your assessment, as well as two tests (Mid and End of semester). It is recommended that you attend the lectures and workshops in person, as you will learn how approach the questions that will be asked in the tests. Overall, a good first-year physics topic for those with prior physics knowledge from High School.
