Reviews

This course is really fascinating. It is a cross-discipline program, meaning the Law faculty and Art faculty have come together to analyse how the two areas interact (thus, great for Law/Arts students). Desmond Manderson teaches the law side and Rosanne Kennedy teaches the English side. The lectures are energetic and interactive. Tutorials are once a fortnight which is great. There is a lot of reading but it is not all examinable. If you read the main articles each week you'll do well. The course also involves looking at different materials, e.g: movies, art, novels, poems, youtube clips, websites, reports and law cases. It also gives you a lot of freedom to express your points of view and choose an area of Human Rights to research in which you are passionate about.
