Can anyone tell me how they chose Dr. Zhang for the second half of the course? She has no idea about algorithms and repeats what she read before class. It is easy to check, ask her any question during the class, and see her responses. The quality of the two parts of the course is not really comparable. Of course, it is too early to say a final opinion as it is before the final exam, but my current experience was enough to say just no. Sure, Dr. Zehmakan was excellent; really responsive and informative.

The course is was well taught by Ahad and Marco. However, I felt it was too exam heavy and perhaps puts too much unnecessary pressure on students exam wise. Both Ahad and Marco are responsive and available to answer questions or doubts. Overall, one of the better CS courses at ANU. But too exam heavy.
