The unit is pretty good. It requires some effort but is HD'able. There were 4 weekly quizzes (best of 3 were taken) Its a combination of MCQ's and two written questions. Just make sure to give a lot of personal examples along with explaining the marketing concepts in your own words for the written questions, and you should be fine. (P.S. make sure you get a good group for your group assignment, which is a presentation** and a final report.) **Presentation: even though its a group effort, each member will be judged individually based on how well they present (that means no reading from notes and preparing well in advance, which is kind of useful if you don't end up having the best team mates, since their work wont affect yours too much)

Do not read the previous reviews. Unit is very disorganised and the unit coordinator / lecturer seems to be having PMS every week (great lecturer tho, but not friendly and very annoying). Easy content but almost no support and direction. I don't really recommend taking this unit.

If you are looking for an interesting unit, fun lectures, approachable and friendly lecturer and tutors, simple practical assessments, and overall awesome experience, take this unit.

I absolutely loved this unit. As a psyc major, this unit was a breeze. Would recommend for psyc majors thinking of doing it as an elective. Covers key psyc concepts and a lot of it was just common sense.

This unit is not as simple as what people say, but it is definitely HDable. Go to the lectures, undoubtedly one of the most useful lectures I've attended. Ended up going to every single one of them, didn't regret it at all because the lecturer is funny and engaging, and the final exam is closely related to what he taught during the lectures.

A straightforward unit if you read the textbook and understand the concepts. Lecturer and tutorials were not particularly helpful. Lecturer spends too much time talking about easy to understand concepts with examples - always going overtime. Assessments are pretty easy going, MCQ for the most part with a group presentation and a extended answer for the final exam. Easy to achieve D or HD if you read the textbooks.

Easy to get a HD - concepts are all pretty common sense. Least time and commitment ever needed for a unit.

Well... the lecturer was not very efficient. Would end up drifting off topic, providing too many life experiences during lecturers and spend too much time explaining very basic principles and points. Due to this only half of the lecture notes would be covered in a two hour lecture, then at the next lecture he would cover the other half of last week's lecture notes. So by the end of the semester you were behind easily three/four topics/chapters even if you attended all the lectures. The expectancy is for you to read the textbook. The end of semester exam was a joke, just the most random multi-choice questions you could imagine. Also, please note that I got a distinction for the unit overall - I asked other students their thoughts on the unit and they were very similar (so I am not a lonesome disgruntled student)! One or two of the weekly quiz marks were random surveys, very little to do with the topic. No feedback on the weekly written assignments - so you did not know how to improve. If I did not have to take this unit, I most definitely would not have. Although, if you just want a very easy ride, not learn anything and guess answers in the mid/end semester exams - then this is the unit for you.

Basic unit as long as you focus heavily on content and terminology. The lectures are direct replicas of the textbook and are therefore not needed

Simple unit, concepts are pretty basic. If you want an easy broadening would recommend.
