Do not do this unit, the exam format has been changed to face - to - face and the exam style is now an essay instead of MCQ. Other than that the unit is easy.

Super easy unit! Didn’t even do any of the lectures and still got a HD overall! Assignments were easy, just time consuming as they felt like an unnecessary waste of time in comparison to some more difficult units.

Fairly easy unit but very boring. The lectures were not engaging and they covered the exact same content in the same structure as the textbook. (No need to purchase the textbook, by the way, there are free pdfs online). The material covered was very basic- it felt as if the whole unit's content could have been covered in a few hours. There were lots of assignments that were worth very few marks. This assessment structure was very time-consuming. In summary, may be an easy HD (assuming you get a good group for the group assignment), but the unit itself is boring and poorly taught.

One of the easiest units to do well in, but a bit boring. Little to no effort required for the weekly quizzes and assignments. Only problem with the assessments is getting a good group for the presentation. The unit outline did change from previous semesters where you would have to now write a final report criticising your own and others’ presentations. The lectures would sometimes go overboard providing too many examples to hit the 1-hour mark when in reality it would take 30-45 minutes to explain the concepts.

Content is pretty self-explanatory if you have the textbook and watch most of the lectures. Lecturer was very nice and encouraging. Tutorials were a waste of time, tutor didn't know half the jargon from the textbook, sometimes I couldn't even follow her instructions because they made no sense. Group projects are always painful, especially with a tutor who pressures you to complete things weeks in advance (why??). Took it as a broadening unit, still very time consuming if you have 3 other units to concentrate on due to assignments.

Really chill unit. Very easy content to learn, and the weekly quizzes were not too hard. The group presentation was a bit of a hassle with time limits, but nothing too bad. The weekly assignments in the first few weeks were a bit of a drag, but not difficult. The end of semester quiz does need some studying though, so do put the effort in that.

Very easy to get a HD as long as you stay on top of things by watching the lectures and reading the textbook chapters. The content is easy to grasp, and the weekly quizzes are also very easy as long as you watch the lectures and read the textbook chapter before hand. I had a good group for the group presentation, and we managed to get a HD. So be sure to get a productive, well organised group as the presentation weighs quite a lot for your overall mark. Another bonus for unit is that there is no exam, instead, there is a final quiz that is all multiple choice and is fairly easy considering that most of the questions are the ones there were on the weekly quizzes, so I highly recommend going over the weekly quiz questions in preparation for the final quiz. Overall, I highly recommend this unit for anyone wanting to get an easy HD.

Hands down the best broadening unit I've done, the content of the unit is honestly not hard. It's definitely possible to get an HD without so much effort.

This unit is actually HDable, but I just found out that they moderate the marks because too many people get high marks in this unit which no longer makes the distribution of the grades normally distributed. My tips for you is to take this unit seriously, do not just brush it off if you want a HD. Get a good group for the project, do the tutorial exercises properly and you will do good because you can literally google the answers to the online final exam and quizzes (they cannot moderate marks for this because it is all mcq).

the tute exercises are annoying yet HD able and the quizzes and the exam are literally the sae and can find answers online. the only thing to be carefull about is to choose a good productive group. i chose a good group and gpt a HD overa;ll. if you put in a decent effort you will get D or HD
