Coffey Internship program for post-graduate or recently graduated students in either Engineering or Finance.


You will be working directly with Coffey's Global Business Development Manager who is a chartered Engineer where you will be assessing engineering opportunities and projects in the current market. This is an unpaid internship that will offer great experience and will go towards the required hours to complete your Professional Practicum relevant to Engineering students.

Job Position: Oil and Gas Market Analyst

You will play an integral role by providing analytical data of the current market conditions in the Oil and Gas sector. Supervised by the Global Business Development Manager, Energy and Resources your internship will include but not be limited to the following:

1. Undertaking analysis of specified markets to provide insight into current market conditions
2. Provide insights, which will contribute to the business case development for new initiatives and strategic planning for the global oil and gas business plan
3. Develop a deep understanding of Coffey's client needs in order to formulate the business case
4. Attend several executive level meetings with Coffey clients
5. You will work autonomously, but supervised and supported by the Global Business Development Manager

About you:

1. Well presented, experienced and a motivated individual who is seeking to provide insightful analysis in an evolving business environment
2. Commercial acumen or an aptitude to progress these skills
3. A positive “can do“ attitude
4. Ideally you will be a finance or engineering post graduate with potential experience/exposure within the Oil and Gas market
5. Demonstrated excellence in communication - both oral and written with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, colleagues and clients
6. Experience in complex analysis and reporting
7. Strong analytical skills with the ability to operate in dynamic work environments

Length of internship:

Coffey is searching for someone to work full-time for 12 weeks starting as soon as possible. They understand the need to focus on study so if you are studying full-time during semester 1 they are willing to offer 3 days per week with an extension to your intership. This will help make up the required hours to complete your Professional Practicum relevant to Engineering students.
