Learn how to identify, handle and effectively manage these common situations dealt with by all students during their academic life.

The SPE Western Australia Professional Branch are offering both personal and professional development workshops facilitated by Arvind Chetty, the Business Devleopment Director for Asia Pacific at SPIE Oil and Gas.

Arvind has a wealth of experience conducting leadership and high performance team workshops from a senior corporate level down to young professionals. His roles in the energy industry have covered the entire value chain from sub-surface to commisioning, facilities, operations, maintenance, subsea, asset integrity, engineering and decommisioning.

Attend both workshops to earn a certificate endorsed by the SPE Western Australia Professional Branch.

This is your opportunity to develop soft skills not developed in the classroom, which are highly regarded within the Oil and Gas industry and will help you stand out when you enter your professional career.

Workshop #1: Team Building

The workshops will include:

- understanding how people function individually and in teams,
- motivating team members,
- handling differences (including personality and cultural),
- team design (what is required for a team to work),
- conflict and conflict management,
- dysfunction of teams, and
- team decision making.

Registration is $10 (excluding $1.44 booking fee). This covers BOTH workshops with morning tea provided.
