Want to learn from a team that possesses transdisciplinary thinking and extraordinary problem-solving? Then OceanIT has you covered!

If you have ever considered an overseas internship in America, then please join us to hear from Dr. Vinod Veedu, the Director of Strategic Initiatives at OceanIT to hear about how you can apply for vacation work at OceanIt. OceanIt is a leading Engineering Research and Development Company which started as a coastal engineering firm, and has been engaged in coastal engineering work for the past 30 years.

Dr Veedu is interested in meeting UWA's top engineering students as OceanIt routinely offers global engineering internships, and is hoping to expand this pool to include UWA students.

Dr. Veedu is an active researcher in the area of nanocomposite materials. He has more than 25 approved/pending US patents, holds a Guinness World Record for the creation of the smallest nanobrush and hosts his own TV show called “Weird Science with Dr. V”, on a CBS/NBC affiliate channel. Dr. Veedu also serves the NASA Space Center in Houston as a Technical Advisor.
