The evening will feature a Q&A - style discussion hosted by FTI Consulting’s Shaun Duffy covering:

• Career perspectives and experiences from WA leaders;

• The success of emerging sectors outside WA’s historical mining focus;

• The competitive advantage of a WA corporate headquarters; and

• How to harness the infrastructure and capacity left behind after the mining capex cycle.

Panellists include leading WA executives David Buckingham (CFO, Navitas Limited and former CEO, iiNet), Dr Michael Stanford (Group CEO, St John of God) and Shaun Duffy (Senior Managing Director, FTI Consulting). Further panellists to be announced shortly.

You will have the opportunity to ask questions to the panellists and participate in the discussion, as well as network with our panellists and the Azure team.

David Buckingham: David Buckingham is the CFO at Navitas, the ASX-listed, global education provider. Prior to joining Navitas in 2016, David spent much of his career in the telecommunications industry working for Telewest Global, Virginmedia and iiNet. David spent five years as iiNet’s CFO before taking the CEO role, including throughout the $1.6bn acquisition by TPG.

Dr Michael Stanford: Dr Michael Stanford is the Group CEO of St John of God Healthcare, a leading provider of public and private hospitals, pathology and home nursing services throughout Australia, New Zealand and the wider APAC region. Michael has 30 years’ experience in health care management with the last 20 years spent as CEO of large, complex, multi-campus healthcare organisation. He also serves as a non-executive director of Curtin University and the St Ives Group, and is a member of the National Health Performance Authority.
