22 October, 2016

Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital

Organised by:
Western Australia Medical Students Society (WAMSS)

WAMSS and MIPS are proud to present the 2016 MDII Mock OSCE!

A mock OSCE is a fantastic opportunity to prepare for the end-of-year assessment through simulating the pressures of examination and by revising topics that are likely to be tested.

In order to accommodate for a greater number of students and learning styles, there will be TWO types of Mock OSCE run in 2016. One mock examination will be run by WAMSS, and the other will be run by WASSIST/UWASS.

The structure of the WAMSS Mock OSCE will be:

- 16 stations total

- Paired with another student

- Each student will complete 8 consecutive stations

- Feedback given at the end

- Aims to simulate the real OSCE

The WAMSS Mock OSCE will run on the 22nd/23rd of October, with morning and afternoon sessions held at E Block, Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital.

Morning session 0845-1200

Afternoon session: 1245-1600

Each student is allowed to register for ONE SESSION from either the WAMSS or the UWASS/WASSIST mock OSCE. Students are not allowed to book one session for both OSCEs. Please refer to the above information and respective Facebook events in making your decision.

Registrations will open on the 9th of October at 6pm. If places are exhausted for each session, students can apply to be put on a waitlist. If there are places still available after initial allocations, students may be invited to apply for a second session.
