Join the UWA Arts Union for the first instalment of the Bachelor of Arts (BA) Seminar Series entitled What’s Next? Life After the Bachelor of Arts (BA).

We have secured four esteemed and distinguished speakers in their respective professional pursuits who will be presenting on the importance of Arts after the conclusion of their university studies. Speakers represent a cross-section of Arts disciplines.

► Supreme Court Justice Justice Lindy Jenkins was appointed to the Supreme Court of Western Australia on 2 February 2004. She previously served on the District Court of Western Australia. She was also a Crown Prosecutor in the Northern Territory and a lawyer at the Crown Solicitor's Office.

► Acclaimed Western Australian Author Kate McCaffrey is the author of three highly regarded and award-winning novels for young adults - Destroying Avalon (2006), In Ecstasy (2008) and Beautiful Monster (2010).

► Director of the Centre For The Study of Social Change & Former Premier of Western Australia Professor Carmen Lawrence is a former Premier of Western Australia and a current Psychology Professorial Fellow at UWA.

► UWA Arts Faculty Dean Professor Krishna Sen is an internationally recognised scholar of contemporary Indonesian and Media Studies. She was appointed Dean of the Faculty of Arts in January 2009.
