Join the UWA Student Guild Pride Department in celebrating all things LGBT with Pride Week!

Pride Week is about connecting with and celebrating LGBT student culture at UWA while having a great time! Pride Week runs from Monday the 22nd of August to Friday the 26th of August.

MONDAY: Movie Night
6pm in Fox Lecture Theatre
Come and watch the great movie Saving Face with us!

TUESDAY: Pride Carnival
11am onwards on Oak Lawn
Oak Lawn will be filled with stalls and decorations! Play giant vollyball, make your own tie-dye shirt or just hang out!

WEDNESDAY: Out In the Workplace Panel
6:30pm in Wilsmore Lecture Theatre
At this panel you can hear from a variety of LGBT professionals about their experiences in the workplace!

THURSDAY: Coming Out With Cake
6pm in the CCZ Project Room
Talk about your experiences coming out (or just listen) while eating some delicious cake! Questioning people or people yet to come out are more than welcome! Please note that this is an autonomous event.

FRIDAY: Pride Department Presents: Pride Party
7pm at the UWA Tavern
What better way to wrap up Pride Week than with a party at the Tav with EMAS DJs? Come dressed in all of your rainbow and glittery gear and buy your ticket soon! Entry is only $10.
