FJ Clark Complex, QEII Medical Campus

Organised by:
Western Australia Medical Students Society (WAMSS)

Worried about the transition to clinical? Preparation for Practice is an joint event run by WAMSS and UWASS to help you ease into the clinical phase. We have four exciting stations to complement the uni teaching you are receiving, including catheterisation, cannulation, phlebotomy and hospital SOAP note-taking.

To give you a better feel for realistic patient care, you will be practicing on each other for the cannulation and phlebotomy stations!

We also have some insights from clinical students during the lunchtime session - a few hacks to help ease the transition from pre-clinical into clinical student-hood.

Morning session: 9am – 12pm (60 students)
Lunchtime lecture: 12pm – 1pm (Both sessions invited)
Afternoon session: 1pm – 4pm (60 students)

There are only 120 spots, so be quick and don’t miss out!

MAKE SURE TO BOOK ONLY ONE SESSION (Morning or afternoon!)

Lunch provided.
