Organised by:
UWA Student Guild Women's Department

Did you know that in 2015 the Gender Pay Gap hit a record high in Australia?

Did you know that WA has the highest Gender Pay Gap in the country?

Did you know that female graduates typically earn 10% less than male graduates?

During Week 11 the UWA Student Guild Women's Department will be taking a stance against pay inequality!

To raise awareness about pay inequity, and celebrate the progress women have made over time to tackle this issue, we will be screening Made in Dagenham on Monday 11th May. Snack food will be provided, BYO blankets.

Come down to Social Science Lecture Theatre 1 at 6:00PM for a 6:30PM start. This event is open to people of all gender identities.

On Tuesday 12th May we will be talking about pay inequity on Oak Lawn. We will have a petition against the pay gap, information for students to take with them, and the option to sign your workplace up to hear more about 'gender auditing'. We will also be selling delicious baked goodies with staggered prices, to reflect the pay gap.
