There are only three certainties in life: death, taxes and the existence of extraterrestrial life.

‘Check Your Balances’ is an original comedy from the University Dramatic Society. In a not so distant future, planet Earth has been invaded by an alien super race known as the Ezgonians and transformed into a dystopian desert wasteland. The aliens have only one weakness: a distinct inability to do their tax.

The play follows a ragtag bunch of adventurers in their attempt to escape imprisonment as tax-doing slaves by the Ezgizagonians and free all of human kind. As our heroes embark on their all important and hilarious quest to save the human race they fall in love, learn secrets about themselves and develop a deep seated hatred of taxation law.

'Check Your Balances' will be performed in the UWA Student Guild Tavern on October 12th-16th. Doors open at 7:30pm and the show begins at 8:00pm.

Tickets for the general public are $15, concession priced tickets are $12 and UDS member tickets are $10 (must show your 2015 sticker!). You can get tickets on Oak Lawn, UWA, 12pm-2pm on weekdays from October 5th or online at http://www.trybooking.com/JCJM
