Ever aspired to advance your photography skills? Or even simply learn to take a decent shot? Come along to our beginners photography workshop where you can learn the basics of taking a photo through to the manipulation of your shot. EMAS and the UWA Photography Club collaborate in an effort to share knowledge of an art that is so profound and commonly used in everyday life. This is a fantastic opportunity for students of any skill level to learn about photography in a fun and relaxed environment.

The course is aimed at beginners with little to no experience and will follow this structure:
• Intro
Shutter speed
Aperture
Metering
ISO
• Equipment-what and how to use (i.e. lenses, tripods, etc.)
• Other aspects:
Composition
Light
Framing
• Practical lecture (where you will get your hands on some equipment and apply what has been covered)
