Interesting subject but useless. If you landed in a horrible team, good luck to you

It's the worst I've ever studied. You might get an HD but probably don't gain anything from it.

Terribly daunting to throw first-year/first-sem-of-first-year students into this groupwork-based subject where you are given very little guidance. In the end, I actually learnt a lot from the theory - which was very interesting and very relevant - but definitely didn't gain anything from my horrible groupwork experience.

Dont listen to the haters, this is a great subject and good introduction to start ups and management consultancy. If you are lucky enough to get Nathan Wiltshire he is pretty good.

This subject is extremely challenging, and it is essential that you purchase the textbook. Should you be unfortunate enough to have Olga Camachoduarte as your tutor, you can expect to be marked harshly compared the rest of your cohort as she does not follow the generic marking rubric. The only thing you will gain out of this subject is a good group of friends, providing you have a good group of course ;)

Absolutely worthless subject. Filled with either common knowledge or unnecessary content.

Pointless essays and content. If I could give this subject 0 stars I would.

A Year 7 student could pass this subject. The group work was an absolute bore and a total struggle.

This subject is not completely useless and I can see the foundational knowledge of contract law that carry on into other business subjects. The contract component aside, the futility of the subject is quite pronounced. The assignment on wicked problems was a short five hundred word piece but it was marked quite arbitrarily in my opinion and certainly not consistently across the board. For example, my tutor would fail the student who did not include at least five peer reviewed sources, whereas other tutors would give full marks for the essay so long as there is at least one. The final exam is really grade nine level but make sure you review the aspects of the contract and key elements of the lecture slides as that is the content which forms the exam. I received a high distinction for 26100 without an abundance of effort at all.

pointless subject
