UTS Debating Society

SPRING SEMESTER IS HERE AND DEBATING IS BACK!

With a new semester comes new debaters, new competitions to debate at and a new style of debating! (don’t worry it’s not that scary)

*WHAT*

The UTS Debating Society will be hosting an exhibition debate to showcase this new fun style!

Everyone and anyone is welcome to come along, we especially encourage new members to come.

We will be debating the motion: ‘that we should prohibit research into all forms of sentient A.I (artificial intelligence).’
Make sure you come along for lots of laughs in this fun debate!

We will also be going for drinks afterward.

*WHERE*

The UTS Glasshouse – Level 1, Block A of Building 5. On the corner of Quay Street and Darling Drive.
The inside of the building is entirely green – so you’ll know you’re in the right place. There will also be signs for you to follow.

Alternatively – if you feel you will get lost there will be a group of society debaters leaving the main lobby of Building 1 at 5:30 (near our stand).

Call Liam on 0426 127 453 if you get lost.

*WHEN*

6:00 PM Thursday 30th of July! (Right after Clubs day)

*WHO*

You!

Can't wait to see you all!!
