Nomination of the 2016 executive committee:

The positions available are:
• President
• Vice President
• Secretary
• Treasurer
• Public Relations Officer
• Promotions Manager
• Publication Manager
• Webmaster
Please see the EngSoc constitution for description of the positions.

All nominations must include full name and the position they are being nominated for.

You may nominate yourself.

Each member shall only be able to give one nomination per position, whether it be a primary or secondary nomination.

Every nomination must be seconded. Once the nominee has received two nominations, they will be notified and must accept or reject the nomination no less than 48 hours prior to the AGM

You may be nominated for multiple positions, although may only hold one.

Nominations will close 72 hours prior to the election. Should members wish to nominate themselves for a position during the Annual General Meeting, the following criteria must be met:
• No more than two nominations for the position in question have been accepted.
• They have not previously declined a nomination for the position.
• They must be seconded by a member present at the Annual General meeting

Members will be notified of the nominees 48 hours prior to the election.
Proposed Amendments to the Constitution

Please email all proposed amendments to agmengsoc@gmail.com with subject: Amendments
Proposed amendments must include the current version and the proposed amendment.
Any proposed amendments must be submitted no later than 14 days prior to the AGM.
Members will be notified of any proposed amendments at least 7 days prior to the AGM.

Postal votes will open 72 hours before the AGM. Postal votes will close 4 hours prior to the AGM.

Members must vote for all positions in order for their vote to be considered valid.

Postal votes will only be counted as valid if the vote is sent from an email address that can be found on our membership list.

Members who send in a postal vote will not be able to vote at the AGM
