Organised by:
UTS Law Students Society

The UTS LSS Smile Week for 2016 is brought to you by Allen & Overy, Corrs Chambers Westgarth, King & Wood Mallesons and Clayton Utz! The UTS LSS is proud to announce the inaugural UTS LSS Resilience in Law session. The aim of this session is to empower students to realise their full potential and not feel limited by challenges, shortcomings or failures which may occur during their academic and personal lives.

As the cohort of law students expands each year at every university, there is a growing concern that the legal industry may not be able to accommodate for all graduates. This concern coupled with the high demands of law school – from readings to assignments to competitions to coffee – can result in heightened stress, unhealthy habits and low morale.

Through this inaugural initiative we seek to address these growing issues and promote that any difficulties, adversities or failures which may be experienced during law school can be perceived as an opportunity to learn and stepping stones to success.

On Tuesday 27th September, please join us for a relaxed evening with food and conversation with students from the UTS Law Student’s Society, members from UTS Batyr and staff from UTS Counselling who will provide valuable insight and advice from their personal experiences.
