“O you who believe! Whoever from among you turns back from his religion, Allah will bring a people whom He will love and they will love Him”.

God divides mankind into three types, there are the people of the left, the people of the right, and there are the faithfully elite as-sābiqun, the forerunners. For centuries scholars have debated the archetype of the forerunner. Unanimously they have agreed upon his adherence to his faith, his indefinite, strange calibre, as well as his consistency within his composure. Remembering God during ease, and in the face of adversity.

They are whose deeds outweigh their misdeeds, maintaining their fortitude, excelling in worship, prevailing in righteousness and Ihsan for a Greater Day to come.

Who are the sabiqun and why is it important that we endeavour to be a part of them? Well simply, they are closest to Allah and what ranking is greater than that? ^_^

"وَٱلسَّٰبِقُونَ ٱلسَّٰبِقُونَ
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلْمُقَرَّبُونَ "
“And the forerunners, the forerunners,
they are the ones brought near [to Allah]”
