The UTS Business Society invites you to participate in the CA ANZ Pitch Perfectly Throwdown - UTS Bsoc Semi Final. This is your opportunity to:
• Develop and showcase your communication skills, quick thinking and team work in front of a panel of judges, including industry representatives.
• Network and collaborate with like-minded students and the UTS CA Student Representatives.
• Find out more about where a career as a Chartered Accountant can take you.


Winning Team:
Each member of the winning team will receive a $50 David Jones Gift Card!

Top 3 Students:
The top 3 performing students will represent UTS Business Society as a team at the Pitch Perfectly Throwdown - Sydney Grand Final, held at the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand Head Office on Friday, 12 August 2016.

NOTE: The 3 team members must not have graduate/vacation work secured for a future date, and must not be currently working as a cadet/undergraduate. Further information is provided below.
EVENT DETAILS (Competition and Networking)

Date: Tuesday, 2 August 2016
Time: 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Location: CB08.08 (Dr Chau Chak Wing Building, Building 8, Level 8)

NOTE: Places are limited and registrations is essential.

• Registrations close: Sunday, 31 July at Midnight, Students will be able to register before the event on the day.
• Competition and Networking: Tuesday, 2 August (11:00 AM - 2:00 PM)

• Teams are made up of 3 current UTS Students.
• There will be a set of topics/discussion points on the day, which will be selected at random to be a topic to battle out.
• Each group will have 2 minutes to prepare their response to the discussion topic, with 3 minutes to give the pitch. It is required that all three members speak during this 3 minutes. There is no time limit that each member must speak, but it should be a significant contribution (or risk deduction of points for lack of teamwork).

This event gives your team the chance to represent your student society and have the chance to win ‘bragging rights’ as the best in the state when it comes to delivering a winning pitch.

The prize:
Each member of the winning team will receive a $300 David Jones gift voucher and attend a group styling session in the David Jones personal stylist suite in Sydney.
