A resurgence in appreciation for all things handmade has signalled a new industrial revolution – the Maker Movement.

The emerging Maker Movement is referenced in connection with topics ranging from the rebirth of manufacturing to job skills development to reconnecting with our roots. Startups are harnessing the value of open source and open standards, using crowd-funding to make things happen.
