The Loft UTS

Dear Members,
It's that time of year again!

First things first, we are holding our End of semester drinks AFTER our AGM at the loft upstairs, from about 7pm. There will be a bar tab for all our members, so get in early to make the most of it!

But getting down to business, UTS InTents must conduct its Annual General Meeting in order to elect the new executive and hear all about what the previous executive got up to.
It will be held at the Loft, in the boardroom upstairs at UTS on Friday the 14th of October. Please arrive promptly at 6pm, for a 6.15pm start.
It's a great opportunity to get involved in the inner workings of the society. You will notice that it is immediately prior to the end of semester drinks, so it's also a great opportunity to get involved in some pre-drinks.

Now, into the nitty-gritty:
There are seven executive positions to be filled:
Marketing and Events Officer
Engagements officer
General Assistant Executive

A General Exec Committee of up to 10 people will also be elected. So for those who want to have a say in the running of the society, we strongly recommend you be a part of the general execs. You will have a say in activities we run throughout the year, helping us organize the camp and various events and lots of other opportunities.

If you would like to nominate yourself or anyone else for any of the executive positions (you may nominate for the general committee on the night), you must email president@intents.activateuts.com.au by 5pm Wednesday 12th of October 2016 with your desired position.
