DO NOT TAKE THIS COURSE UNLESS YOU ARE EXTREMELY PASSIONATE ABOUT AUSTRALIAN POLITICS. Also, if you're an international student and you want to know about Australian Politics, read a book or watch a documentary or do anything OTHER THAN this course. The content will never make sense. But Jackson Stewart is a lovable lecturer.

I was not very satisfied with the unit and would not recommend it to others. As an international student, I hoped to learn about the Australian political culture and gain a better understanding of what is happening on the news pretty much (well it was the lest I expected) and I came out of the subject with knowing neither of that. I'd say, unless you are really passionate about Australian politics and know about the key players in the Parliament, don't do it, it will be boring for you. And besides you will miss out on the great unit - geopolitics which all of my friends have done!
