lots of concepts but the exam is easy if u follow it every week. Lectures are super fun and demonstrators are helpful. Didn't revise a lot but still got an 80 (which is soooo much friendly compared to my major)

did anat2010 as an elective and got a 90 in this unit with minimal effort compared to my other subjects. i'm not saying it's entirely easy but the way the course is organised so cleanly and succinctly makes it so straight-forward to study and the teachers explicitly mention what things will not be on the exam. What's depressing is that this course made me realise how shit the subjects in my actual major are and hearing people complain about anat2010 makes me want to pull my hair out like i would take candy from a crying baby for the quality of the teaching in this subject to be the norm.

Karen Cullen is so amazing and talented when it comes to teaching anatomy. Such a sweet soul. This unit was also at its best when it delved into the physics aspect of neuroscience.

**STUDIED SEM 2 2020 ONLINE** Like a lot of the ANAT subjects - jam packed with a boatload of content. This is genuinly something you will NOT be able to study for a few weeks before the exam - consistancy is key. If you are reading this before commencing ANAT2010, KEEP UP WITH IT! Even if you don't have the time to make your own notes, buy some, and read along with lectures. Go to all your tutorials, post on piazza, join facebook group chats etc. The content is very interesting I must say - presented some new information about structures and things I never knew existed and makes you appreciate how complex the brain is. Just some advice on top of what I've already given, there are HEAPS of opportunities to pickup marks along the way. Tutorial quizzes are straight forward and the midsem is purely labelling + there is a poster task (at least when I did it). Excel in all these so you have some wiggle room in your final. PROS: supportive staff, content is organised, images in assessments have all been presented in material, straight forward to pass IF you keep up with it CONS: huge amount of content? dont know if this is a con but this is fairly standard across the ANAT subjects. Goodluck!

Loved how organised this unit was.

This unit is super interesting and easy to get good marks if you stay on top of lab notes and identifications and keep up with lectures!

Anonymous, Semester 2, 2018

Interesting and prac quizzes/exam is easy to do well in if you are good at memorising structures and functions

Very interesting content but a lot of it too!

Lots of content but VERY interesting! Don't expect lecture content to line up too well with the lab work so sure to prepare before the labs to get the most out of them.
