The tutorials are incredibly useful for exams to the point that you don't even need to use the textbook. Unfortunately, I'm not giving it a 5 star since the lecturer constantly makes mistakes in the material, making me stress and second guess myself on my understanding of the content 24/7. The lectures themselves could've also been condensed alot better.

Essential content for economics, business and law students, but it is a lot harder than BUSS1040 with more mathematics involved and more rigour than BUSS1040.

Was well taught by Stephen Cheung. Content was interesting as it built upon introductory microeconomics but it was quite dense

Great subject

Great unit. It goes more in depth than ECON1001. It is nicely challenging yet very interesting as you get to see how the concepts relate to real world problems.

I love this subject. Very interesting and challenging (in a good way). You get to learn the basic models and examples to apply in real situation.

Though the unit requires a bit of math, the only reason why I liked this subject was due to the lecturer- Andrew was amazing at explaining the content (as well as my tutor) and if you go to the class and do the tutorial work prior, it's a fun unit. The content builds on ECON1001 and might be challenging due to its 2 mid-semester exams and a final worth 50%.

In isolation this unit is interesting and is a completely different take on micro compared to ECON1001. However, it was so utterly poorly taught: if you want to succeed, you'll need to teach yourself. It is quite mathsy but I managed to get an HD in the mid-sem having not done calculus maths in the HSC,

This unit is difficult and entirely theory-based. Personally, I hated it, and despite somehow scraping a distinction (even though I'm sure I failed the final), my advice is to put the effort in to ensure you don't have to repeat this subject. As somebody not particularly mathematically inclined (2U HSC Maths) I found the mathematics elements of this course challenging. This was not at all helped by the lecturer in the second half of the course, where tricky topics such as exchange economies were introduced, being utterly abysmal. The one bright spot was that the first lecturer (Hayley) was excellent.

Difficult course and poorly taught. No slides just jumbled illegible lecture scribbles. I managed to do well in the subject but not after many hours of hard work.
