This year for the first time, the School of Geosciences, USYD are offering a workshop in Geography as part of the Science Teachers Workshop.

The Science Teachers Workshop are professional development courses suitable for high school science teachers of all levels. Workshops are held on separate days for Earth and Environmental Sciences, Geography, Physics, Agriculture, Bio Science and Chemistry. Workshops aid the professional development of teachers.

For example, completing the 2016 Science Teachers’ Workshop in Geography will contribute 4.75hrs of QTC registered PD addressing 2.1.2, 2.2.2, 2.6.2, 6.3.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.

The School of Geosciences is offering a Science Teachers Workshop in Geography on Tuesday, 8th November, in the Madsen Building at the School of Geosciences, The University of Sydney.
