In accordance with s 35 of the SULS Constitution, notice is provided for an Annual General Meeting of the Sydney University Law Society, to be held on Tuesday 25 October, 6pm in the Law Lounge, Sydney Law School.

The Annual General Meeting has been convened to deliver the reports of the 2016 Executive, to accept the results of the 2016 SULS Election, and to consider any amendments to the SULS Constitution.

MOTIONS ON NOTICE
Motions to amend the Constitution, the Standing Orders of the Society and/or the Electoral Regulations must be submitted to the Secretary at secretary@suls.org.au by midnight on Friday 7 October, in accordance with s 36(a) of the SULS Constitution.

Motions to amend the Constitution, the Standing Orders of the Society and/or the Electoral Regulations

Motions to amend the Constitution, the Standing Orders of the Society and/or the Electoral Regulations must be submitted to the Secretary at secretary@suls.org.au by midnight on Friday 7 October, in accordance with s 53(a) of the SULS Constitution.

Proposed amendments must:
Include the relevant provision in its existing form;
Set out the proposed amendments to the provision;
Include the relevant provision in its amended form;
Be in a Word document;
Include the name of the person proposing the amendment and, if appropriate, a statement of up to 150 words to explain the proposal.

NOTICE
The Secretary will give notice of any Motions on notice OR proposed amendments to the SULS Constitution, Standing Orders of the Society and/or the Electoral Regulations by COB on Monday 10 October in accordance with ss 36(b) and 53(b) of the SULS Constitution.

The Secretary will distribute the Agenda of the AGM by COB on Friday 21 October, in accordance with Appendix 2 rule 11 of the SULS Constitution.

Notice will be given by email to the SULS mailing list and by posting on the noticeboard outside the SULS Office.
