The Dolphin Hotel

Organised by:
Media and Communications Society (MECOSOC)

Excited to announce the theme for this year's MECOBall: LOGIES

Roll out the carpet, put on your glitziest frock, and make desperate eye contact with the producers of Dancing With The Stars. Tonight is Australian television's night of nights. You are cordially invited by the Media and Communications society to attend the 4th annual MECO Ball.

Time to leave Ramsay Street and Summer Bay and head to The Dolphin Hotel in Surry Hills for the most glamourous night in this year’s social calendar. It's going to be fab evening with photography, drinks, and 11/10 Masterchef bites to make you feel more at Home than Away.

Brush shoulders with the biggest names in Aussie media, from Rob Mills to Sonia Kruger and the queen herself, Lee Lin Chin. It’s the only place to be seen if you want to get scouted as next year’s Bachelor or Bachelorette.

We’re shaking it up this year with an opportunity to nominate friends, fiends, foes and felicias for a number of awards to celebrate why you’re studying media and comms at USYD instead of *cough* UTS *cough*. The highlight of the night will be the legendary Gold Logie, presented by the one and only Andrew G - woops, Osher. And no, he won’t accept your rose.

Best dressed will win the honour of gracing the covers of TV Week, to be read in hairdressing salons nationwide for the next millennia.

Make sure you get tickets, or else you'll feel like Karl Stefanovic hungover on live TV. A Current Affairs will be hunting down anyone who fails to attend. This event is going to go as viral as one of Waleed Aly’s takedowns, so make sure your outfit is on point because we’re gonna be breaking the internet.

****Tickets will be on sale from 6pm tomorrow (Monday 26th September) and get in quick because there are only a limited number available!****
