Sydney University Law Lounge, Level 1, New Law Building, Eastern Ave, Sydney Uni

Organised by:
Sydney University Law Society (SULS)

SULS and AWSA invite you to a film directed by Iara Lee from the Cultures of Resistance Network.

It is 40 years since the invasion of Western Sahara by Morocco. The Saharawis have been fighting since 1991 for the right to have a UN promised referendum on self-determination.
This film takes a fresh approach to the long standing conflict highlighting the voices and perspectives of Saharawi youth, rappers and creative people, giving us new insight into their visions and hopes in a powerful and compelling way.

If you are interested in international human rights or refugee law, don’t miss this event!

Please join us at 6pm 24 August 2016 - Sydney University Law Lounge
