Join us for an evening of pizza and drinks as we learn about the state of renters' rights in NSW. Most students who live out of home are renters, and many have horror stories. What are our rights? And how can we organise to expand those rights?

Jenny Leong (State Member for Newtown) has done a tremendous amount of work on the forthcoming review of the Residential Tenancies Act. The recent Facebook event hosted by Jenny, 'Rental Horror Stories', revealed all kinds of extraordinary accounts of bad rental experiences.

Sylvie Ellsmore (a Councillor on Marrickville Council and the Greens candidate for Sydney) is thoroughly familiar with all aspects of housing policy. She has some great insights into ways in which we can address the chronic shortage of affordable housing in our city.

There'll be a Q&A, a bar tab, pizza, and, most importantly, you. Can't wait to see you there!
