Unsure how to best approach studying at law school? Wondering how to wade through all those law readings and take effective notes for exams? Not sure where to start for your law assignment?

The Allen & Overy ‘Law School Basics’ Seminar Series will step you through every aspect of studying at Law School – from readings, preparing for tutorials, making lecture notes, assignment technique, research skills and exam preparation.

The first seminar will take place at 1pm on Wednesday 22 March in the Law Lounge, and is an informal Q&A style event. Our first set of expert panellists will include Professor Barbara McDonald, Associate Professor Jamie Glister and Hope Williams (LLB Honours).

In addition to commonly asked questions, we will set aside time for audience questions in the second half, so please come along with any burning questions you might have about Law School. Lunch will also be provided!

Look out for our future forums on assignment technique (1pm, Monday 3 April) and exam preparation (1pm, Wednesday 24 May).

Please contact Liz Sheahan at education@suls.org.au if you have any questions.
