Many of our sub-com from last year are on the exec this year.
There are four different roles available that we are looking to fill. If you are enthusiastic, self-starting and have a great personality - we want you! All degree backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
1. Social/media marketing assistant
This role is suited to someone who is social media savvy. You should have a basic understanding of creating designs for social media posts (or be willing to learn). Your main role will be supporting our social media/marketing director in all activities relating to NOW including creating event pages on Facebook, posting/sharing relevant content on our social media channels, creating our newsletters, and brainstorming marketing campaigns to support our events.
2. Events assistant
This role is suited to someone who is switched on and highly organised. You will be supporting our events director in the planning and implementation of our busy events calendar this year. This will include emailing contacts, organising catering, photography, collecting merchandise for goodie bags etc. If you are keen to learn more about the events industry, this is a great opportunity to get some practical experience with a fun and supporting team.
3&4. President's assistant
Two presidents assistants are required to support the presidential team (2x co-presidents & 2x vice-presidents). This role will give you higher level involvement in designing our events for the year, collaborating with our corporate sponsors and shaping the future direction of NOW. If you are keen to progress into a more senior position within the NOW exec, this is the role for you!
