When:
16 March, 2017

Location:
Courtyard Restaurant and Bar

Organised by:
Courtyard Restaurant and Bar

Under the hiss of its espresso machine, and the drubbing of Channel [V], Courtyard gently weeps.

For years now, it’s felt, well... incomplete. Why? It never wanted to be an inoffensive campus eatery with vogue outdoor furniture.

No, it dared to dream. Deep inside, deep down inside, it's always wanted to be… a GREEK ISLAND TAVERNA!

On March 16, SUGS is taking over Courtyard. We’re recreating an authentic Greek taverna experience, and we want you there. We’ll have:

FOOD, JUST LIKE YIAYIA MADE IT
Tickets include mezedes, main and dessert – all of which, thanks to Courtyard’s culinary demigods, will be practical clones of genuine island offerings. SUGS’ expert tasting panel has made sure of it!

DRINK, OF DIONYSIAN QUALITY
$5 house vino. Oh-so-crispy Hellenic lagers. The Uni weren’t having it, but we weren’t having without it – free ouzo shot on arrival!

DANCING, TRADITIONAL AND GREEK
Look forward to traditional Greek dancing, with a live band – The Cretan Music Group Sydney – in Courtyard’s courtyard. Don’t worry if you don’t know the steps – beginners welcome and encouraged!

Courtyard’s been waiting a long time everyone... Bring your friends, bring their friends. Last year’s was a sellout, so we’ve upped capacity. Get in quick, see you there!

Tickets:
Access $25
Non-Access $35

Grab them from SUGS' O-Week stall, or the ticket link!

*There will be NO tickets sold at the door, so grab em before they sell out!
