Culture, Conversation and the Arts - Sharing Stories, Soup, & Damper

What:
YARN Australia is a Sydney based Aboriginal organisation that strives to create connections between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People and non-Indigenous Australians through events and gatherings built on music, stories, culture, conversation and respect.
At this event Students and Community Members will share food and stories through group discussions on history of Australia since 1788, focusing on the Arts.

The Conversation will be facilitated by Bundjalung & Thunghutti man Warren Roberts CEO & Founder of YARN Australia, Culture & Conversation and the Arts event SCA.

When? 5.30pm for a 6pm start - 9pm on 23rd November 2016

Where? Sculpture Ceramics Courtyard,
Sydney College of the Arts, Kirkbride Way, Lilyfield

We are looking forward to coming together, sharing soup, damper and conversation to finish off the year at SCA!

Alcohol free event, soft drinks, tea and coffee provided.

The ceramics garden is part of a working area at SCA and we all need to wear closed shoes! See you tomorrow!
