Tired of lectures? Looking for a way to unwind that technically counts as study?
Look no further!
The Politics Society is proud to invite you to the annual Hedley Bull lecture on international relations and current affairs. Our speaker this year is the esteemed French Ambassador to Australia H.E. Christophe Lecourtier.
Over a long career in international relations, the Ambassador has previously held roles as CEO of Ubifrance (France’s agency for export promotion) and chief advisor for international economic relations in the French Ministry for the Economy, Finances and Industry. In addition, he has served as both chief of staff and a special advisor to the managing director of the IMF, Mrs. Christine Lagarde and as an advisor to the French Minister for Economy, Finances and Industry, Mr. Francis Mer. Ambassador Lecourtier will be discussing recent developments in global current affairs and will offer his opinions on French-Australian relations.
The lecture is open to both members and non-members of the politics society and light refreshments will be served prior to the lecture’s commencement.
