Organised by:
USC Law Students Association

The USC LSA is proud to be hosting our Annual R U OK Day? Mental Health Forum.

Come along to a forum about the effects of mental health on law students and lawyers and what more we can be doing to raise awareness.

Our panellists this year include Louise Ferris (Director of People and Performance at McCullough Robertson's Brisbane office), Sarah Atkinson (Principal at Maurice Blackburn’s Maroochydore office), Christine Jones (Accredited Mediator, Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner and Consultant Solicitor at SJP Law, Maroochydore), and Clarissa Rayward (Director at The Happy Family Lawyer and presenter of the new podcast Happy Lawyer, Happy Life).

This is a free event, however we do ask that you make a gold coin donation at the door which will go towards the Triston Jepson Memorial Foundation. The Tristan Jepson Memorial Foundation was created in memory of Tristan Jepson, a University of NSW law student, young lawyer and comedian who took his own life just 4 weeks after his 26th birthday after suffering from severe clinical depression.
More information about the foundation can be found at http://www.tjmf.org.au/about-us/

This is an open forum so students will be welcome to ask the panellists questions. Our Director of Wellbeing, Rachel Last, will be facilitating the panel so if you have any burning questions you wish to ask of our panellists but don’t feel comfortable asking on the night, please email them to Rachel and she will ask (time permitting). There will also be an opportunity to chat to our panellists and other professionals who may be attending at the end of the forum.

Head to http://usclsa.com/ruokday for more information. Any questions, please contact USC LSA Director of Wellness, Rachel Last (rjl017@student.usc.edu.au).
